I was able to set up some LEDs in series without resistors no problem.  When I switched the power supply to 5 v, the mA on the output increased x5 and the CC pot no longer seemed to make a difference.  That was a bit surprising and risked my LEDs.  Same at 6v.  At 7-8 v the current draw from the input was unstable but the output adjusted ok.  Everything smoothed out at 9+v and worked fine up to 15 v.Took a bit of adjusting to get voltage and current pots in the range where they are effective.  Might want to use resistors and not LEDs to tweak it at first and keep from blowing out your diodes.For reference, I have the output terminals on the left, the input on the right and the pots are at the bottom of the board.
